Rick Springfield at River Spirit Event Center

Grammy® award-winner, 80s rock icon, best-selling author, and TV heartthrob Rick Springfield returns to the Event Center at River Spirit Friday, November 7 at 7 p.m.  Tickets for Rick Springfield start at $40 and go on sale Thursday, October 2. Tickets are available at riverspirittulsa.com and the Players Club Box Office.

Although Springfield is well-known for his role as the dashing Dr. Noah Drake on the popular daytime drama General Hospital, his first love has always been music—a lifelong passion that began at the age of 12 in his native Australia.

Springfield won a Grammy award for his No. 1 hit “Jessie’s Girl,” and recorded 17 Top-40 hits including, “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I’ve Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody,” and “Human Touch.”

An accomplished author, Springfield’s first attempt at fiction, MAGNIFICENT VIBRATION, was published earlier this year. His 2010 autobiography, Late, Late at Night: A Memoir entered The New York Times best-seller list at No. 13, was named as one of the Top 25 rock autobiographies of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Springfield remains dedicated to his music and has toured for over 30 years, performing his legendary, high-energy live shows before millions of fans worldwide.
