Broken Arrow will hold it’s first food truck festival September 6, 2014, touting the name Taste on Main.  The fun begins at 11am and ends at 10pm.

Over 20 plus food trucks are expected to invade Main Street in Downtown Broken Arrow, OK.  Broken Arrow will be closing down Main Street from Broadway to Dallas for this food truck festival.

“We are excited for the food truck invasion to happen to Broken Arrow”’, said Josh Lynch, Dog House food truck owner and event coordinator.  “We have an entire day full of kids activities, music and food planned, we hope the community will come out and support Taste on Main”.

Festivalgoers will indulge in a wide assortment of delicious, innovative foods all served from the inside of a four-wheeled vehicle.  Visitors need to get their taste buds ready for hot dogs, burgers, sushi, catfish, BLT’s, crepes, gyros, snow cones, mini donuts, cupcakes, propops and so much more.

Some of the food trucks participating will be Brownies, Local Table, Mods, Kona Ice, On a Roll, Lick your Lips Mini Donuts, Gyros by Ali, Pita Place, Mikes BBQ, Jubilee Concessions, Jared’s Propops, Not your Grandma’s Cupcakes, Masa, Stella Reauxs’s, Mr. Nice Guys, The Dog House

Taste on Main will also feature a Kids Zone and live music throughout the festival.  Taste on Main will show the OU vs. TU game from 11am-3pm, followed by live music.  The band line-up will feature local musicians Steve Liddell 3-4pm, Jill Holzbauer 4:15-5:15pm,  Jacob Tovar 5:30-6:30pm, Dustin Pittsley 6:45-7:45pm and rounding out the entertainment Brujo Roots 8-10pm.  Whether you’re looking for a great way to spend an afternoon, a food lover eager to taste a delicious mix of the best food trucks & carts in Oklahoma or a music fan looking to hear great live music, Taste on Main is one event that offers something for everyone.
