World Autism Awareness Day


April 2, Autism Speaks celebrates Light It Up Blue along with the international autism community, in commemoration of the United Nations-sanctioned World Autism Awareness Day.

In Tulsa, Cox Media Group-Tulsa along with The Hunt Club, Mocha Butterfly, Blue Energy Fuels, Guthrie Green and other Brady District Arts merchants have teamed up to LIGHT IT UP BLUE-TULSA!  Join us in The Brady Arts District of downtown Tulsa to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day Wednesday, April 2nd! 

Tulsa Event Schedule:

5:00 pm:  Light it Up Blue Gathering- Wear Blue and meet on the South Side of Guthrie Green with your friends and family

5:30pm:  Balloon Release from Guthrie Green

(Enjoy the Brady Arts District Restaurants, Shops and Sights!)

8:00pm: Guthrie Green and other Brady District Merchants Turn on their Blue Lights/Doors open for "I Have A Light II: A Tribute To Nirvana" at The Hunt Club (Benefit for A New Leaf, Inc.)

9:00pm:  I Have A Light II: A Tribute To Nirvana at The Hunt Club ($5 admission to benefit A New Leaf/All Ages)

About Light It Up Blue

Light It Up Blue is a unique global initiative that kicks-off Autism Awareness Month and helps raise awareness about autism. In honor of this historic day, many iconic landmarks, hotels, sporting venues, concert halls, museums, bridges and retail stores are among the hundreds of thousands of homes and communities that take part to Light It Up Blue.
