Guts Church to host Tougher Than Hell Poker Run

Guts Church is gearing up for its 15th annual Tougher Than Hell Poker Run, June 6, 2015, which will benefit the Guts Distribution Center, the church's outreach to Haiti, and new this year, the Folds of Honor Foundation.

More than 1 million meals are provided annually between the Guts Distribution Center and outreach projects in LaGonave, Haiti. Proceeds from the Tougher Than Hell Poker Run will support children in Haiti, as well as local families in need in Tulsa, Skiatook and surrounding communities through the Guts Church Distribution Centers. Tougher Than Hell is also joining forces with Folds of Honor to help provide scholarships for the families of fallen and disabled heroes.

“This is one of my favorite events that we host each year, and it has become one of the top rallies around the country,” said Bill Scheer, pastor of Guts Church. “Each year, thousands come out to not only ride, but to help a great cause.”

Excitement is building for the largest poker run in Oklahoma, where four vehicles will be given away that day. Registration for the poker run starts at 1 p.m. at the Guts Church Tulsa campus. Poker hands must be turned in to the Guts Church campus (stop No. 5) between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. High-hand and low-hand winners will ride home on a Harley-Davidson Sportster 883. Tickets are $20 and extra hands can be purchased for $10 a hand. Each ticket is an entry to win either a 2015 Harley-Davidson FatBob or a custom 2015 Ford Mustang.

The Tougher Than Hell Poker Run will feature music from Elaborate Hoax, The Boogie and Grammy-Award winning artist Rick Derringer, as well as food trucks, bike shows, prizes and much more. For more information about the Tougher Than Hell Poker Run, visit tougherthanhell.com.
