Queen of the Prairie was the nickname given to Guthrie, Oklahoma when it was first founded in 1889. The mission of Queen of the Prairie Festival is to bring the best of Americana Music's performers to Guthrie. It will be for the enjoyment of fans, to promote the city, and enrich Oklahoma's art and music landscape.

In alignment with their mission, QOTP organizers are collaborating with local Guthrie merchant Boutique 206 on a fashion show to take place during the festival. Through this show there will be fashion on display from several different vendors, many of whom are set to have pop-up shops at the festival.

Local resident and supporter of the QOTP Festival Don Channel is also in the process of organizing a BBQ competition, which will attract some of the region’s top competitors.

The Queen of the Prairie Festival will also include:

• Overnight camping at the Cottonwood Flats
