Veterans Appreciation Day at Tulsa Shock


Veterans, Military Members Invited to Attend Free Tulsa Shock Game

July 27th


BOK Center

The Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center (JCMVAMC) and sponsors will host a Veterans Appreciation Day event on July 27 during a Tulsa Shock game at the BOk Center in Tulsa.

Veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserve troops can get a free ticket to the 3:30 p.m. game vs. the Chicago Sky with a military or VA ID along with a free voucher for a soda and hot dog. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.

The first 100 significant others of Veterans or military members will also get in free. Discounted tickets for family members will be available for $12.

Organized by the JCMVAMC Combat Care Team, the purpose of this annual outreach event is to thank Veterans for their service, educate them about VA benefits and services and encourage Veterans to enroll for VA health care.
