Broken Arrow launches new utility billing system

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The City of Broken Arrow is switching to Paymentus for their utility billing and online payment system. The city expects it to be available by Monday, June 27, 2022.

Customers will be able to experience new features such as:

  • “Pay Now” option for quick payment without registering an account
  • View and pay multiple accounts at once
  • View payment history
  • View billing statements
  • Month-to-month usage data
  • Securely save payment information
  • Opt-in for paperless billing with email and text reminders
  • Payment scheduling

A kiosk to make a payment 24 hours a day, seven days a week will also be available at local retailers like Reasor’s and Fiesta Mart. The website paysitekiosklocator.com will provide locations to make payments.

“We are excited about these enhancements, and they reflect our continual commitment to providing a superior customer service experience,” said Curt Poole, Utility Billing Customer Service Manager, City of Broken Arrow. “We recognize that customers want flexibility, accessibility, convenience, and a user-friendly experience without sacrificing security. We believe these new features meet our customers’ expectations.”

The automated phone payment system with features like quick account balance review and payment with a credit card, debit card, or eCheck and call flow will continue to be available. Payments through any of the available options will not incur a service fee. The Utility Billing Office located at City Hall will also continue to be available during regular business hours.

Current Customer ID numbers and Account ID numbers will have minor changes by adding zeros to the front of each of the account numbers so each will be represented as six digits. For example, 005241. This change is necessary change for logging into the new system online and for the automated phone system when calling Utilities Customer Service at 918-259-8409.

Customers who use online bill payment through their bank will need to notify their bank with their new Customer ID number and Account ID number so City of Broken Arrow utility payments will continue to post correctly.

Additional information about the new online payment system can be found on the City of Broken Arrow website at www.brokenarrowok.gov/government/utility-billing.
