Replica signs were placed at Route 66 Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza near 17th and Southwest Boulevard.
Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum posted on Facebook the signs replicate those that originally ran along the Mother Road in Tulsa.

Last year, the city announced the Route 66 Neon Sign Grant Program, which offers $40,000 each year in grants for business owners interested in adding neon signs.
