Silver Alert cancelled for 62-year-old Tulsa man

TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE (08/06/22) 8:44 p.m. — According to Tulsa Police, James walked himself back into the St. John’s ER around 8:00 p.m. He is being examined by medical staff.

A Silver Alert has been issued for 62-year-old James Barnes, according to Tulsa Police Department (TPD).

James is a 62-year-old light skin black male. TPD said he was wearing gray shorts and a white t-shirt. He is 6′01″ and weighs around 210 lbs. James suffers from several medical conditions which put him at risk.

James has not shaved or had a haircut lately. He also does not have a phone or car with him.

Late Friday night James had a seizure and was transported by EMSA to St. John’s near 21st and Utica.

James’ mother, Erma, called St. John’s and was told he had been released around 2:00 a.m..

Erma went to James’ house and was unable to find him.

The hospital was not able to provide any information as to which direction or manner he left in.
