AUSTIN — A fire broke out Sunday morning at an Austin homeless camp, destroying several tents and damaging a portion of the interstate overpass.
Austin Fire Department said crews were able to put out the flames beneath I-35, KVUE reported.
There were no injuries, KXAN reported. Fire officials said the damage to the bridge is not significant.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, officials said.
