The administration’s Office of Defects Investigation said there have been 11 reports of fires, Reuters reported. There is also other data “alleging a non-crash thermal event originating in the left side of the engine compartment,” USA Today reported.

Most of the time, the event happened as the SUV was being driven, but there were four cases where it was off. There have been no accidents or injuries linked to the issue.

It is believed that the issue stems from improper installation of vehicle’s 12-volt battery or an issue after a front-end collision, Reuters reported.

The investigation covers 1.86 million vehicles.
