LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. — UPDATE, 10/14/21, 1:20 p.m.: The Turner Turnpike has reopened.
The Turner Turnpike is closed eastbound near mile marker 162 due to a rollover accident involving multiple vehicles, according to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. At this time, traffic is diverted at Wellston.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes as this is expected to be a lengthy closure.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol and OTA maintenance are working to clear debris off the roadway to open lanes as quick as possible, the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority said.
