Jason Ray

First of all thanks for listening to K95. It’s because of you that I am able to do what I love.

I’ve been in broadcasting for several years and love it. The radio bug bit me when I was in elementary school. I used to take my portable Emerson record player and pretend I was a DJ. That was back when the Oak Ridge Boys “Elvira” and Ronnie Milsap’s “There’s No Getting Over Me” were hits. My junior year in high school I walked in to take a tour of a radio station in Claremore and walked out with my own 5 minute weekly program called the “Pryor High School Report”. And as they say the rest is history.

I was born in New Mexico and moved to Oklahoma when I was 6 and consider myself an Okie. I’ve been blessed with a wife, two teenage daughters, a son in elementary school, a granddaughter and a dog named Max.

When I’m not working I like spending time with the family, traveling, discovering new museums, cooking and spending time in Branson.

Thanks again for listening and you can follow me on Twitter @k95jasonray. I would enjoy hearing from you.
