MUSKOGEE, Okla. — One man is dead after a deputy-involved shooting in Muskogee Friday morning.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) and Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) are investigating the shooting at the Coco Bongos adult entertainment club.
According to OSBI, MCSO deputies responded to the club around midnight for a possible armed robbery. At some point, a deputy shot and killed the armed suspect inside the club.
OSBI responded around 1:30 a.m. and is investigating along with MCSO.
The deputy was unharmed and is on paid administrative leave. No one else was hurt in the shooting.
Authorities say the suspect, Matthew Dylan Lucht, was killed.
