Officer Zarkeshan attends squad meeting for first time since June shooting

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police shared pictures Wednesday of Officer Aurash Zarkeshan attending a nightly meeting at his precinct for the first time since June 29.

Zarkeshan was shot in the head while in the line of duty over the summer.

Since the shooting, he has been in therapy learning to regain strength.

FOX23 had live coverage of his return home last week.

Zarkeshan was awarded the Mingo Valley Division Sgt. Craig Johnson Officer of the Month for September, for his strength and perseverance through his recovery.
