Some have already made the switch, but any remaining Kum & Go gas stations will be rebranded to the Maverik name this year, according to the company.

Maverik purchased Kum & Go in 2023, nearly doubling the Utah-based chain’s footprint.

According to a press release from Maverik, the company began rebranding Oklahoma’s Kum & Go locations in October 2024. The company said it plans to have completed the process at 40 stores by March 2025.

“We are excited to bring Maverik to new customers, and bring a consistent experience in new markets for our current customers.” Maverik CEO Crystal Maggelet said. “The new rebrands reflect our dedication to delivering excellent convenience store experiences across fuel, foodservice and inside-store offerings in all our locations from the Midwest to the West Coast.”

The company said with each rebranding would come a brief store closure. KRMG was told that took about 48 hours at one location in Broken Arrow. To reduce downtime, the company said store interiors are finished during the closure, then the store reopens while exterior signage is updated.

Maverik said Kum & Go customers who were enrolled in the “&Rewards” program will be automatically enrolled in Maverik’s “Adventure Club” rewards system.
