NORMAN, Okla. — The University of Oklahoma announced a new agreement with Tulsa Community College (TCC) to create clearer transfer pathways for students to earn bachelor’s degrees for select majors at OU.

To provide pre-transfer and transfer students with a clear transfer path, OU will go over required coursework for select degrees with transfer students and will provide transfer students with scholarship and financial aid information.

OU and TCC have made commitments to increase awareness for support opportunities for transfer students, support the completion of their associate degrees, provide academic guidance to help transfer credits to degree programs, and create a better experience for students to finish their bachelor’s degree at OU.

“We value our partnership with TCC and want to make the transfer process as seamless as possible for each student. These pathways mean we can best serve those seeking bachelors degrees in the Tulsa area and ultimately improve our community through educational opportunities,” said OU-Tulsa Interim President Dr. Jim Sluss.

OU also signed transfer agreements with Oklahoma City Community College and Cameron University.
