Tulsa Police investigate after body found at recycling center

TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE (12/01; 4:29 p.m.) — Tulsa Police discovered the body of Juan Rolland Jr., 21, in a bin at the recycling plant near E. Pine St. and N. Peoria Ave. on Tuesday. TPD said the Rolland was found amongst debris that had been picked up by a trash truck, but they said it does not appear to be a homicide.


Tulsa Police are investigating after a body was found at a north Tulsa recycling center on Tuesday morning, according to the Tulsa Police Department (TPD).

TPD said they called out around 11:00 a.m. to a recycling center near E. Pine St. and N. Peoria Ave.

According to TPD, employees found the body at the center.

TPD said they are not sure if this was a homicide and that they are still waiting on the Medical Examiner’s report.
