BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — 5/9/23 Update: Broken Arrow City Manager Michael Spurgeon said the company that intended to reopen Bell’s has changed course, opting not to open an amusement park. Furthermore, he said Santa Cruz Seaside Company Inc. plans to sell the land.

Bell’s Amusement Park is reopening. The park closed in 2006 after 55 years of thrills at Expo Square in Tulsa.

Robby Bell said the park will sit on 102 acres in Broken Arrow near Kenosha (71st Street) and the Creek Turnpike.

Bell said many of the old Bell’s favorites, including Zingo and the Log Ride, will return. Additionally, he said there will be new rides that they didn’t have room for at the old park at Expo Square.

The new location will include the thrill park (where the rides will be), a 24-acre water park and an indoor space.

“The highlight of that indoor facility will be extremely high-tech, both virtually reality attractions and electric go-karts.” Bell said.

Bell said the park will stay open 10 months out of the year, closing only for maintenance in January and February.
