Tulsa Zoo opens up general admission tickets

TULSA, Okla. — Starting July 6, you no longer need reservations to visit the Tulsa Zoo.

FOX23 told you the zoo only offered a limited number of zoo admissions at a time during the pandemic, requiring you to reserve your tickets ahead of time.

You can now purchase general admission tickets online or at the gate seven days a week. While the zoo is open from 8 a.m. to 5p.m. the last entry is available at 3:30 p.m.

Over the course of the pandemic and winter storms, the zoo was forced to close for periods of time. Because of donations, the zoo has been able to provide quality care for its animals during closures. You can watch more about the fundraisers here.

Tulsa Zoo guests ages 10 and older are no longer required to wear a face covering when inside any buildings on zoo grounds. Masks are optional for guests while in indoor exhibits.

You can still donate to the zoo online.
